Oscar the Dog needs a home

Hi! My name is Oscar! I'm 6 years old. Lots of people ask my foster Mom what breed I am- she tells them I'm our best version of a Heitz #57.     Most likely Bassett Hound/Jack Russell/Beagle and maybe some Dalmatian. I'm a comical looking guy with short legs and a long body, and at about 20 lbs I'm the perfect size to snuggle with you on the couch! My foster Mom says I have a disability (i'm deaf), but I don't really notice because my eyes are so sharp and my nose is strong, too. She has taught me some sign language. A flashlight will break me from anything I'm doing. I like to chase shadows sometimes to.  I like all people and most dogs. I am mostly housetrained. If you think you have room in your heart and home for a spunky, sweet lapdog like me please apply!
